“Jympa” Summer Session 1
Let's enjoy sports in the Cinquantenaire. Like every year Friskis & Svettis, a non-profit Swedish fitness organisation working with volunteers, organises free “Jympa” park sessions in summer.
"Jympa" is a unique Swedish way of training developed by Friskis&Svettis's founder Johan Holmsäter. The word is derived from gymnastics. A jympa session is rather similar to aerobics class in exercise content, but tend to be less choreographed and less coordination-requiring. Is also tends to be more informal.
There will be an instructor with a micro and music and usually a big crowd participating.
When you come from the Schuman roundabout you enter the Cinquantenaire and immediately go to the right and you should find us on a big grass area in front, a little to the left. You should also hear the music. We meet next to the Friskis & Svettis info stand.
Please come in your training outfit (there are no changing facilities) and bring a water bottle (a towel might be usefull as well). People usually leave their sportsbags leaning against a tree during the session, so please be aware not to bring any valuables.
If you like, we can go for a drink afterwards.
I am looking forward to enjoying this first park sports session with you.
P.S. Regarding the timeline: the jympa session is from 19h Protected content and I provided for about one 1h for going for drinks.
