Sydney Observatory Night Tour
We will attend the 8.30 PM event at the Observatory. However, for those who can make it early, we will be meeting at the Protected content
Explore the highlights of the southern sky on a night tour at Sydney’s oldest observatory. Use our telescopes* to see the stars, Moon, a nebula, Mars or the planets during this quintessential Sydney experience.
Tours include the Planetarium*, a telescope viewing (weather permitting)** and a dome tour.
All night tours are 90 minutes in duration.
Tours are held regardless of the weather. If viewing through the telescopes is not possible due to sky conditions, other activities will be arranged. Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged or rain checked for patrons who contact the Observatory prior to 12 noon on the day of their tour. Rain checked tickets last for up to 3 months or three booking attempts.
