Snowboarding Basics Course
Join us for this chance to learn the basics of snowboarding in a two-day course with a professional instructor (max participants: 8).
The course is divided as follows:
Basic feeling on the board, learning to balance and first sliding exercises on plain terrain, basic sliding on small slopes, braking.
Sliding exercises on slope, turning on curves, carving.
The course is intended to give us the basic feeling of safety on a snowboard. We won't be expert drivers afterwards, but we'll be able to practice on real blue and red slopes some other time!
If the group is interested, there's a chance for a follow-up course, which will continue where this course left off.
The practice slopes at Brunnalm - Hohe Veitsch are free of charge, so there is no need to buy a ski pass (at least for the first day).
The skiing area has equipment rental (snowboard, boots, helmet, googles, etc.). Or you can bring your own gear.
This covers the instructor's fee for the two-day course. Other expenses (gear rental, transportation, ski pass if needed, snacks, drinks, etc.) are to be covered by each participant.
Carpooling or public transportation. TBD.
We plan on driving from Graz both days. If you want to spend the night over there, let me know.
The participation in this activity is at your own risk!
I'll get in touch with the participants to arrange the final details and give some recommendations on gear and things to pack.
Sorry, but you are not allowed to join this Activity Group!
We are afraid that you cannot join, because the Consuls have limited access to this Activity Group.
