First in a series of talks with directors and curator of Leipzig's biggest museums and galleries, Holger Kockelmann, director of the Ägyptologischen Institutes/Ägyptischen Museums invites you for a open, friendly discussion about the recent excavations and archeological discoveries made by the german teams in Egypt and neighbouring countries, works of art on display at the Egyptian Museum of the Leipzig University and, more broadly, about the life and work in the Middle East.

The talk will be followed by a tour through the current museum exhibition & a champagne reception.
