Avalanches: The basics, for safe winter activity
We are still restricted when it comes to group activity, and I am happy to always hear about people going out in small groups.
To help plan your activity, and stay safe it is good to know more about avalanches, where they occur, why, and how to stay safe by choosing a safe route, and being aware of the conditions.
we will start with a few minutes of saying 'Hi' to each other. I recommend you all have a glass with your favorite drink, to toast for the new year.
***I am NOT a qualified instructor, and do not pretend to have any extensive knowledge of the topic. This will be more of an introduction to the subject, and some tips for planning, and risk assessment. You might feel motivated after this online introduction to sign up for more extensive courses.***
