Bang-on will prepare some typical Brazilian specialties as well as caipirinhas and fruit juices.
And one just pays for what he/she orders.
As the place is small and there will be other people joining the event, I have to limit the number to 15 persons. So please, only register if you are sure you can attend this event.
Festa Junina is a celebration that occur in the month of June in Brazil, also known as festas de São João for celebrating the nativity of St. John the Baptist (June 24).
Since Northeastern Brazil is largely arid or semi-arid, these festivals not only coincide with the end of the rainy seasons of most states in the northeast, but they also provide people with an opportunity to give thanks to Saint John for the rain. They also celebrate rural life and feature typical clothing, food, and dance (called quadrilha, which is similar to square dance).
