"The connection between Greece and Munich has always been close. Munich is honoring the 200th anniversary of March 25, Protected content , when the Greek struggle for independence began, in a special way.
On March 25, Protected content around 7 p.m., two important Munich sights will be illuminated in the Greek national colors of blue and white:
The Propylaea on Königsplatz, which King Ludwig I had built between Protected content Protected content clear references to ancient Greek architecture and depicting scenes from the struggle for independence.
The Olympic Tower is located at the place where the Protected content Games, based on Greek tradition, took place.
In addition, the Greek Consulate General at Möhlstrasse 22 in Bogenhausen will be festively illuminated. "
