You may live in the city for few days, few months, few years. You may have been to Cu Chi Tunnels few times or have never heard or been there yet. Never mind! Go with me and you will experience the truly unique moment.

As the youngest daughter in the family, I was born in a small and quiet village close to Cu Chi Tunnels where my other 2 sisters were born underground.

We will arrive my village very early in the morning and have a special home made breakfast. One of my sisters makes the rice paper by hand at home then you will have a chance to see how the rice paper made from rice powder traditionally.

There will be a garden visit after that to pick up fruit for your dessert after lunch. No tree can be survived in the village due to the bombs during the war but now it's fruit-full through-out the year with rice field, peanut and tropical fruits. Then we start the Tunnels tour.

What's next? Oh yes then it's lunch and you will join to prepare the local lunch together with my family. My mom will make the sticky cake then and you can also help to wrap it up by banana leaf.

A bike tour around the village and the paddy field will help you to refresh your stomach. Then taking a rest and having sunset in the garden before heading back to the city.

What to prepare:
- Easy and light clothes and running shoes for the garden walk and off-road bike tour
- Bring your bag with you if you would like to pick up some fruits in the garden
- Empty stomach to try all the local food
