A Vegetarian Brunch – Deliciously Healthy and ....
….a step towards climate change and environmental awareness !
Did you know that on a global scale the livestock sector (meat production) is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gases, and one of the leading causal factors in the loss of biodiversity ?
In August this year the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) released a report which asserted that a shift towards plant-based diets would help to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
According to a Protected content in the journal Nature, a significant reduction in meat consumption will be "essential" to mitigate climate change, especially as the human population increases by a projected 2.3 billion by the middle of the century. In November Protected content , over15,000 world scientists signed a document titled Warning to Humanity, calling for, among other things, drastically diminishing our per capita consumption of meat.
Protected content is quoted to be one of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Toulouse, and on Sundays offers a delicious and healthy brunch. All ingredients are locally sourced and/or bio.
PLEASE: I have booked us a table for six, so only sign up if you are 100% sure to come. The place is small and cozy - try to be on time, Protected content starts its brunch service at 12:00.
See you all there !
