SOMEWHERE OVER the RAINBOW, SONGS for ALL, a selection of Opera, Classical Spanish and Musical Theatre, Music for all tastes.

KARIN SCHRIESHEIM an American International Soprano. She grew up in Chicago, where she was introduced to Classical Opera Music by the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Passionate about opera, oratorio and art song repertoire Karen Schriesheim has performed in numerous prestigious festivals, competitions and young artists courses, with a demonstrated affinity for music of the baroque and the recital stage.
She was recently a semi-finalist and selected to be a competitor in the Froville International Baroque Singing Competition and will appear in a rare performance of Händel's Arcadian Duets, she recently also competed in the highly selective inaugural international Haydn Song & Arts Competition.

Her operatic roles include Pamina (Die Zauberflöte, Mozart), Zerlina (Don Giovanni, Mozart), Cleofide (Cleofide, Händel) and Seemele (Semele, Händel) Masterclasses include Gerd Uecker, Caroline Dowle, Martin Katz, Edith Wiens, Julis Drake, Christoph Prégardien and Sussan Mc Cullogh.The Reperoire will inlude Classical, Spanish Classicl and Musical Theatre, in this concert titled "Somewhere over the Rainbow, Songs for All".
