Petunia's Drifter - Dress Rehearsal
Amateur Theatre is coming alive with the new season.
Plot: Petunia and Marigold are daughters of a lord and wish to get married off... A drifter comes by to save the kidnapped daughter and there's not a Dahlia in sight! Well, everything than can go wrong with the lines and the show, does. So, we'll be laughing again whole heartedly.
Consider visiting behind the scenes dress rehearsals. Three shows that will be held on Saturday, December 7, Protected content open to members guests. If one is lucky to hear the "Selkirk Christmas" by Jim Turnbull, a Scottish immigrant, then you will truly enjoy the essence of childhood memories. For most of us, our holiday preparations do not begin until we hear Jim recount and re-tell the story, with minor twists and embellishments, that make grown men cry with tears of joy.
Background information: The Player's is a traditional Men's only Amateur Theatre club. Tow other clubs enjoy using the facilities: Women's only Theatre & Arts and the co-ed Fine Arts Society of Detroit (FASD).
Since it is a dress rehearsal, it's casual and one is allowed to bring your own drink and food, if you wish.
Parking code will be shared with folks who sign up.
More good things are coming our way... wishing everyone a safe and thoroughly joyful holiday season... Protected content we tumble and rumble!
