Kick-off hike to Mont Lachat de Thônes

A last minute proposition thanks to improving weather.

A regional classic on the south side of the street, sorry slope.

We start close to Fetelay and take the trail via Le Mont and then la Mare. Continuing through the forest we get to the second part of the trail where the field of vision widens. A climb crossing a steeper and mineral landscape, between slabs and rocky bars will lead us to the summit which will offer us a Protected content panorama facing the Aravis, Mont Blanc, etc.

Proper equipment (solid hiking shoes) is mandatory! Must have change of shoes for the car! Sun protection, hiking poles and water are recommended. It will be sunny but not hot.
Once signed in, please check your mailbox Wednesday late - there may be updates on logistics, weather etc.
Those taking a ride pay the driver 0.20 CHF per km for petrol unasked.
