Raquettes tour on the slopes of Roche Parnal

A less well known tour, with a possibility of a loop, offers interesting views of the nearby peaks.

We start near Petit-Bornand-les-Glières.
On the way up the trail passes through woods and open alpine meadows by various chalets (de La Combe, des Mouilles).
We aim for the Roche Parnal but do not climb to the summit, and start the descent from Col du Freu.
If anyone knows how to make a snow-man, please say in advance.
I have 1 spare pair of raquettes if anyone needs one.

We need min 3 people to do the hike.
Ideally only the cars used will meet. Otherwise note special meeting time at 9h00 due to shorter days.

Proper equipment (snow shoes and poles) is mandatory! Must have change of shoes for the car! Sun protection and water/hot drink are needed.
Once signed in, please check your mailbox Saturday PM - there may be updates on logistics, weather etc.
Those taking a ride pay the driver 0.15 CHF per km for petrol unasked. Note: due to astronomical gasoline prices have to increase the petrol contribution.
