What better time to hone your cooking skills than now?
Learn how to cook 2 delicious Persian dishes in the comfort of your home, using everyday ingredients. Both dishes are Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-Free.
The dishes will be prepared in accordance with a Whole Food Plant Based diet, which can boost your overall health and immune system.
1. Ash Reshteh: A Persian Soup made with an abundance of herbs and beans. Ash Reshteh is packed with IRON, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Fiber, while being low on fat.
2. Kashke Bademjan: A traditional Persian eggplant spread that goes great with flatbreads. This is a wonderful accompaniment to meals and is bound to be a guest favorite. Bademjan literally translates into eggplant in Farsi while Kashk refers to a type of Middle-Eastern dried yogurt. In our dish, the dairy yogurt is replaced with a homemade cashew version, making the dish helathier and dairy-free. Ground walnuts add creaminess and substance to this amazing dip.
The class will be on Facebook Live and after the cooking demo, there will be a Q&A session. You will receive a copy of the recipes so you can easily replicate it at home
