Hike to Dent D'Oche

An autumn classic. The panorama from the summit has no equal in the region.

We start in the area of Bernex (but in France :-) from where we have an option of a round trip or a loop to reach le refuge de Dent d'Oche. There are chains towards the end of the climb. From there we may go 100m higher to the summit depending on the group and weather.

It may be necessary to shift this event to Saturday depending on weather forecast.

For those coming from Lausanne it is shorter to pass though Montreaux.

Proper equipment: solid hiking boots (change of shoes for the car) is mandatory! Picnic and at least 1 litre of water is recommended.

Those taking a ride pay the driver 15 cents per km for petrol unasked.
