Rando in Lavaux With Picnic Lunch

Let's do a classic walk in the Lavaux area (UNESCO heritage). Somewhere along the walk, we will have a picnic lunch. Therefore, please bring your own food for your lunch and also for sharing with the other participants. In the afternoon we will then take a train back to Geneva. We will take the IC train to Reneens (leaving from Cornavin platform 3 at 08:35), and then the R2 train to Lutyry. From Lutry we will walk 17 kms, passing through the villages of Grandvaux, Riex, Èpesses, Rivaz, St. Saphorin, and finally Vevey. This walk passes through a wine-growing area, for which terraces have been built on the slopes. This area is a UNESCO heritage. Although we stay at low altitude, the view is unique. We will also pass by the Nestlé headquarters.
