Storytelling Session on Zoom
The last session was so successful that we decided to do it again!
Most people like to tell stories, whether they admit it or not.
How many stories have you told in your life? In the past month?
As for the benefits of telling a good story -- well, if you can't think of any, then improvisational narration is probably not for you. You can memorize an anecdote or some fairy tales. Add a story to your presentation at work. Even better: make your presentation into a story, and your audience will be hanging on your every word!
My job (presentations trainer) has included creating and telling stories for years, and recently I decided to expand that focus to general storytelling, a skill that seems to be in high demand. Some companies even have a professional storyteller on staff, and doesn't that sound like a dream job?
Everyone is requested to bring one Protected content story (or joke, if you must) in English. It can be true, made up, or anything. After each turn, we will have a round of feedback (+/- 5 minutes) to hopefully improve your story and/or how you tell it.
The Zoom link will be posted on this page before the meeting and you can click and join. Please make sure your camera and microphone are working for this.
Sorry, but you are not allowed to join this Activity Group!
We are afraid that you cannot join, because the Consuls have limited access to this Activity Group.
