Books discussion: The Power Habit, and The Achievement Habit
The Power Habit, C. Duhigg, Protected content , and The Achievement Habit, B. Roth, Protected content , are very useful to understand Habits, to create new ones and to change old established ones (the latter being more laborious and time consuming). Habits are key to our wellbeing because willpower has been found to be limited; the time invested in developing habits to do what we want to do will pay back handsomely in the long run. OUR EVENT WILL FOCUS ON THE DISCUSSION OF THE BOOKS SO PLEASE READ AT LEAST ONE PRIOR TO EVENT. If you cannot obtain the books, there are some good summaries and reviews freely available in internet; read at least some of these and bring your questions to the group. Looking forward to seeing you and talking about these seminal works!
