Improve your Storytelling Skills #48
Newbies and observers always welcome!
Are you a leader, trainer, coach, salesperson, presenter, or wanna-be speaker?
Consider the listener's perspective: would you rather hear someone ramble with no structure or vocal intonation, or someone who uses interesting verbal & non-verbal language to keep your attention?
This event is designed to make you a better storyteller. We've been doing these weekly sessions since last March and they've been a lot of fun and, I dare say, useful. You can check my website for eventual credibility Protected content
Freestyle: everyone is requested to bring one (up to 10 mins) story (or joke) in English. It can be true, made up, myth, metaphor, or anecdote. After each turn, we have a short round of feedback to hopefully improve your story and/or how you tell it.
Don't worry about your level of English -- we are extra patient for non-native speakers :)
Get out of your comfort zone in a safe space of fellow storytellers! Please have camera enabled, so our playing field is equal.
