LEITH HILL - A HIKE TO THE TOP OF SURREY
A WALK TO THE TOP OF SURREY
This is an unforgettable walk from a tranquil lake to the highest of the Surrey hills. We go upto 965ft above sea level. The walk takes in water meadows, a magical forest and an ancient track.
On the summit ofProtected content is an 18th-century Gothic tower, with panoramic views northwards to London and the English Channel to the south.

Walk length: 7 miles / 11 km
Although the walk is not strenuous, a reasonable level of fitness is required as we will be going up a hill. We can have sandwiches or pub lunch (At the Stephan Langton Pub) at the end of the walk.
For those coming by train go to DORKING STATION. From there
