As the weather forecast is very good for the week-end. Putting on this river walk.
Kingston - Richmond - Twickenham
We will finish the walk well before the Rugby finishes and head to the station straight after or stay for a quick drink.
KINGSTON TO TWICKENHAM
Scenic river walk
Eel Pie Island and York Gardens
We meet at Kingston station and head along the river passing ham House, Teddington Lock, King Henry's Mound and then into Richmond.
We then continue our walk along the river's edge towards the famous Eel Pie Island (Head of a major hippy colony in the 70's) and home to a number of artists
We'll also visit the impressive York Gardens. The gardens comprise of many different features worth exploring, the famous 'Naked Ladies' statues, the sunken garden to the rear of the house and the Japanese garden.
Please bring a packed lunch with you or eat in Richmond
