THE 7 SISTERS HIKE SEAFORD TO EASTBOURNE

A great hike and visit to the seaside to kick off the summer

Highlights

Amazing hike with stunning coastal views

Hike the 7 sisters and see the seaside town of Eastbourne

Gaze at picturesque white cliffs throughout the hike

Finish the day with some Fish & Chips and a drink at a sea side pub

The Seven Sisters are a series of white chalk cliffs and are set within the Seven Sisters Country Park. Our hike will follow the sisters from Seaford to Eastbourne and will involve a number of steep climbs.

Our walk starts in the town of Seaford (you can get there by train from Victoria) or drive there.

After the walk , if you are driving you'll need to get a train back to Seaford from Eastbourne (where the walk will end) or get a bus back.

TRAVEL

Meet just outside the large WH SMITH on the station concourse at 08.20am.

As soon as people come we will go in groups of 4 (to get group saver) to the ticket machines / ticket office. Please come early as these things sometimes take time

London Victoria 09.16 am - Lewes - Seaford 10.47 am

Eastbourne - London Victoria (Sometime after 5pm)

Those travelling by car can get a bus (£3.60 approx) back to Seaford or train back

For those driving, please be at Seaford Station by 10.50am (latest)

We will stop during the walk for a snack lunch so please bring food and drink. There are also a few stops along the way, where you can buy food. We will visit a pub after the walk.

There is a part of the walk where you will have to go through a small stream (so bring some flip flops for that part). This will be quicker, or if it is difficult to cross will just take a detour around
