SUNDAY MAY 17th GLENCOE
A very varied day with several hikes in and around Glencoe
Hike 1: The Hidden Valley (Coire Gabhail) 2.5 hours
Distance: 4.5km
Ascent: 320m
Terrain: Narrow trail along a steep-sided valley.
MONDAY MAY 18th BEN NEVIS Protected content 7-8 hours
Distance:16 km
Ascent: Protected content
Terrain: Steep, but well made paths on lower half, upper area is rough & very stony.
TUESDAY MAY 19th
Glen Nevis - Steall Meadows, Falls & Ruins 3 hours
Distance: 5.5km Ascent: 200m
Sightseeing / Historical / Cultural / Whiskey Tasting
Glenfinnen Viaduct, Jacobite Monument, Castle Tioram & Ben Nevis Distillery Tour
WEDNESDAY MAY 20th CREAG MEAGAIDGH 8 to 9 hours
Distance : 18 km Ascent : Protected content
THURSDAY MAY 21st The Cairngorms 3 to 4 hours
Distance: 7km Ascent: 600m ascent Terrain: Good tracks
Cultural / Historical / Sightseeing
FRIDAY MAY 22nd ISLE OF SKYE THE QUIRAING 3 to 4 hours
Distance: 7 km Ascent: Protected content ascent
Terrain: Good tracks initially, but rough, rocky & boggy in places.
