There are ways that that I have learnt in my counseling and coaching experiences, through observing and interacting with people, how we can handle our emotions. We respond or we react. We can respond to anger by acknowledging it and using a variety of techniques to properly deal with it. There are many techniques out here like deep breathing exercises, mindfulness mediation, and so on that help us to channel our anger in a way that helps us to heal. By contrast, we can react to anger. This is where things get broken and people get hurt. When we react, we lose control of ourselves and we give our anger over to its own free will.
