Monash Masterclass: The Future of Work in Indonesia
MONASH MASTERCLASS : THE FUTURE OF WORK IN INDONESIA
by Monash Business School Alumni Relations Team
This interactive Masterclass will provide a framework to explore how digital disruptions are shaping the world economy and contemplate what this might mean for the future of work in Indonesia and other emerging economies
The human-machine interface has transformed the cost of transportation and communication, redirecting value chains across the globe, creating and destroying business models and shaking the fabric of our societies. The session will introduce the idea of 'premature deindustrialization' and consider the kinds of productive opportunities that are likely to emerge for the next generation of entrepreneurs in Indonesia.
This Masterclass will be presented by Professor EDWARD BUCKINGHAM, Director of Engagement at Monash Business School.
Professor Buckingham's areas of expertise are strategy, entrepreneurship, international business and change management. He has extensive experience in executive education, and has taught in French, Indonesian and Mandarin as well as English. Professor Buckingham's professional background includes both corporate and academic roles and his industry interests include agribusiness, manufacturing, education and natural resources.
