General theme: Facing our time

The Night of ideas will take place on January 31st Protected content , and will focus on the theme: 'Facing our time". Guests from diverse backgrounds - intellectuals, researchers, artists - will gather to discuss the theme all across the five continents.

IFI Jakarta theme: Development issues in Indonesia in the age of technology
Indonesia is now part of the G20 summit and is to be one of the countries with the highest growth rate. In this context of growth, technology has found its way and is now part of Indonesians daily life. But this technological leap has consequences, either positive or negative, on Indonesian society.

In order to discuss this topic IFI will gather different speakers:

Bottlesmoker is a music project by Anggung Suherman (Angkuy) and Ryan Nobie Adzani, from Bandung, Indonesia. Based on experiments using toy musical instrument and custom equipment, the duo produce unique and catchy sounds with a hint of a pop music.
