Visit Islamic and Coptic landmarks at the heart of historic Cairo on a private tour of Egypt's fascinating capital. Throughout the tour, take advantage of your day with a private guide to explore at your own pace. Here’s what we will do:
• Sultan Hassan Mosque which regarded as the finest piece of early Mamluk architecture in Cairo.
•Rifai Mosque housing the tomb of Imam Rifai along with later members of the Mohamed Ali dynasty.
•Gayer-Anderson Museum (Bayt al-Kiritliya) The museum is noted for being one of the best-preserved examples of 17th-century domestic architecture left in Cairo, and also for its vast collection of furniture, curio, and other objects.
•Ibn Tulun Mosque, the largest and oldest mosque in Cairo with its unique style on minaret.
•The Hanging Church, a unique structure with a wooden roof in shape of Noah’s ark.
• Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church is traditionally believed to have been built on the spot where the Holy Family rested at the end of their journey into Egypt.
