How to thrive in an Aspergers Relationship?
Are you Working, or have a friend friend or are you dating someone with aspergers syndrome?
At today's event we will have an introduction to ASD (and what it means), and hear one person's experiences of discovering that they had ASD quite late in life and what they did about it, how to identify people who have this 'difference' and what to do about it. If anything!
With a professional background in economics, accounting, systems analysis and IT project management Andrew is also a fencing coach and runs a website hosting and development business to keep him occupied.
He discovered he was on the autistic spectrum (aspergers) at the age of 50, which explained a lot of things about his personality, and it became the basis of his own personal development. A recent experience led him to realise that a lot of adults are going through life with undiagnosed ASD, which can affect work and personal relationships, and it has become his mission to spread awareness of the condition and what you can do if you realise someone you know might have this condition.
Additional Guest Speaker Cathleen Bergin (Special Needs Nurse)
