Flamenco Bits and Beats
On February the 28th it's Andalucia day in Spain. That's why on the Global Music Group we decided to pay tribute to this region of Spain , by having an event about the most characteristic art form of Andalucia, the Flamenco.
We will start with an introduction to Flamenco, where we will examine it's history and origins and the key elements of it. We will get to examine terms like palmas, palos, duende, alegrias, bulerias, fandango, malagueñas, rumba flamenca, sevillanas, siguiriyas, soleá etc
After that we will listen to traditional and modern flamenco beats.
Feel free to dance if you feel like it ;-)
