-A story of "Humanitarian"- PART 1
"Dictionaries define a humanitarian as someone who works to better humanity."
In this talk, I challenge this mainstream definition and argue that it is much more than that.Through my own journey, I would like to share a few key points that can either make or break one’s experience as a humanitarian.
I am a language teacher, a linguist ,a humanitarian, an explorer.I am working sometimes as a volunteer sometimes as a professional both on the front lines of the HSA in Greece (Kara Tepe) and in with organisations such as Concern Worldwide (Syria Turkey border)-UNHCR and REVI (Turkey-İzmir),Miksaliste Aid (Serbia ),Ayses Angels-For child as a founder, as an teacher mentor , education advisor and social worker(child protection) in environments.
I am waiting for you in this event to remember peace.
And to share our feelings.
