Garden treasures part III: A hidden gem in district 6
Another cute garden is hiding in Mariahilf's Raimundhof. Just off Mariahilfer Straße, the courtyard named after Austrian writer Ferdinand Raimund hosts a number of lovely shops and Cafes. Protected content is an oasis in the middle of a busy shopping district, with a range of tasteful cakes, among them a few gluten-free, raw and vegan choices. The raw cheesecake is a special delight.
How to find it: The nearest public transport station is U3 Neubaugasse. Just walk straight in to the courtyard at Mariahilfer Straße 45 and you can't miss it.
