Eat, Drink and Talk: Language Exchange at 7 Dials Food Hall
- I've been thinking about trying to organise a midweek language exchange for a while now, and I do know this coming Thursday is very short notice, but think we might as well get going this week anyway, to see how it works out...
- We can meet at Protected content . I am not reserving anything, but hopefully we can find somewhere to sit, and I should think it will be a small group this week, so I'm sure we'll be ok. (In future, we can reserve something, if this becomes a more regular event.)
-The plan is to do a straightforward language exchange, e.g. my English for your Spanish or whatever it may be, and the idea is that attendees do want to have a go at conversing in a language which isn't their first one, either fluently or as a complete beginner.
-The venue offers lots of small restaurants and bars under one roof for those who want a coffee, something to eat,or a glass or wine or beer.
-NB the map is wrong for some reason, the food hall is on Earlham Street itself, not at the Junction as the map indicates.
-and finally, if this becomes a more regular thing, I'd hope to start at 6:30 or 7 if possible, just stuck at work a bit later this week...
I look forward to seeing you there.
