South African Wine Tasting
South Africa has some of the most fantastic tasting wines I have ever experienced. At a Wine Messe several years ago in the Messe Zentrum, I tasted a red wine called "The Chocolate Block"! It is superb, among many others!!!!
The tasting will take place in the Arcotel Wimberger in the Presidential Suite on the 7th floor of the hotel, Room 721.
The Weinplateau shop was located on Tiefergraben but closed down in June this year. I have known the owner, Volkmar, since Protected content has done numerous tastings for my wine tasting club! He will be your host at this tasting along with his wife, Monika.
Costs: 1) Euros 20 for White Wine tasting (2 sekt and 5 white wines from Signature Chenin Blanc to Gables Range.) OR
2) Euros 20 for Red Wine tasting(6 excellent red wines from Signature Range to Gables Range) OR
3) Euros 30 for both Red and White Wines Tastings.
When you get to the hotel, ask at the Reception desk for the Lift Card to use to reach the Presidential Suite. This card must be returned before you leave!!
Payments are to be made in the hotel at the concierg on the evening of the tasting.
