On this occasion we present the Portuguese harpist Helena Madeira, who will offer a delicious musical repertoire with influences from the three cultures and monotheistic religions.

This artist, based in Silves, in the south of Portugal, has extensive training in singing and harp. She after passing through the National Conservatory of Music in Lisbon, while she studies Anthropology and Italian language.

Between Protected content Protected content was the vocalist of the world music group MU, with whom she recorded the album Casanostra in Protected content Folhas que Ardem in Protected content with whom she performed live on some of the most prestigious world music stages such as the Plasencia Folk Festival, the Sines World Music Festival, the Sufi Sutra Festival in India or the Penang World Music Festival in Malaysia, among others.

In Protected content began her career as a soloist, with her first solo album: Da voz do Embondeiro, in which she delves into the roots of the music of the medieval period of the Iberian Peninsula.

Helena Madeira has continued with her research and dissemination of traditional music until outlining her second album, Cenário Divergente, presented in Protected content . Her repertoire usually includes music of Sephardic origin.
