Ghost story writing workshop
Throughout the centuries, spooky stories have kept their appeal and are as popular today as they were way back when they were told by the fire.
How does one go about writing a spooky ghost story, though? That’s what we aim to explore in this hands-on workshop, along with some ghost story basics. Focusing on a few key elements, you’ll lay out the foundations for your own spooky story. At the end of the workshop you’ll come away with an outline you can use to write your own scary tale.
You don’t need any experience to take part; just bring something to write with and a pinch of curiosity.
Those who feel inspired and encouraged to finish their stories after the event are welcome to submit them for the anthology ‘When Ghosts Come in From the Cold’, by Idle Time Press ( Protected content ). Join us and craft your own spooky tale!
