Discovering Maximilianmuseum Augsburg
Dear members,
let´s meet up and join a tour, that will show us the permanent collection of the oldest statal museum in Bavaria.
The Maximilian Museum is located in the historic centre of Augsburg. The first municipal museum was established in Protected content the two city palaces of Augsburg merchant dynasties and named after the Bavarian King Maximilian II. The home of Augsburg's art collections and museums offers a unique wealth of outstanding works of goldsmithing, late Renaissance bronze art, scientific instruments, clocks and automatons, historical models, objects relating to the city's history and arts and crafts. They all date from the imperial city era, when Augsburg was the art metropolis of Germany. The museum received the Bavarian Museum Prize in Protected content .

ENTRANCE AND TOUR ARE FREE OF CHARGE
As usual we can go to drink or eat something together after the activity.
