Finally we enter the Mausoleum of Augustus, the largest circular tomb in the ancient world. After 14 years of restoration it is once again accessible to the public and, with our archaeologist, we will discover its innumerable transformations over the centuries. First it was used as a stronghold by the Colonna family, then it was transformed into an amphitheater to then become an auditorium in the Fascist era. This masterpiece of Roman architecture holds mysteries and secrets which, however, will reveal themselves with our guide in every corner of its walls full of palpitating beauty
