A serial killer is on the loose in the holy Iranian city of Mashhad. He has already murdered 16 women, prompting journalist Rahimi to take action. She travels to the holy city to investigate and soon encounters resistance: in her editorial department, from the local police and from the imam in charge. Somehow, it seems unclear whether the murder of a prostitute is a crime at all.
