Photographing Shop Windows

Dear members,
This will be our first event as a Group dedicated to enthusiast amateur photography. I know we are not many, but we hope to attract more interested members as we go along.
In this event, we intend to explore a very central district of Athens and shoot the shop windows and the products they display. Kolonaki has been one of the iconic residential areas of the center of Athens, mostly inhabited by upper-income class families, with expensive shops, selling luxury items, designers clothes, and more designers items, such as personal articles, furniture, cookware, athletic garments, foodstuffs, etc. Most of the shop windows are carefully designed and some of them are real works of art. One of the concepts involved in setting the meeting time is the availability of daylight plus the artificial lighting of the shop windows. It is important that the reflections on the window glass be avoided and the strong light inside the window is one way of doing this. The sun will set at 18:36 hrs on April 09.
In addition to window shops, buildings of architectural interest may be subjects for shooting, particularly if they are lit. Please note that regardless of the main theme of the event, attendees may choose freely subjects to shoot.
After the event, we will gather at one of the places for snacks and drinks.
See you there...
