Sketching at the Place Garibaldi, Nice
If the weather is fine, let's sketch in the Place Garibaldi, in Nice. This magnificent square is the oldest in the city and was built in the years after Protected content . The square's name honours the important Italian politician and general, Giuseppe Garibaldi ( Protected content ), who was born in Nice. (I think poor old Garibaldi here should be a bit taller). The square is lined with arcades with shops and cafes, so if the weather is not good, either here or the nearby Museum of Modern Art can be a good Plan B. (For residents of Nice, if you don't already have a city museum card, bring a proof of address for free admission).
