Chaekgeori (첵거리) - Our Shelves, our Selves
On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of Austrian- Korean diplomatic relations Weltmuseum Wien is showing in collaboration with great Korean artists the exhibition 첵거리- Chaekgeori- Our Shelves, Our Selves.
In Korea Chaekgeori designates a painted arrangement of books, shelves, various objects and small treasures. In the exhibition the Korean artists represent their work under the inspiration of traditional models. However, they place their personal treasures next to the books in impressive, individual ways.
Let’s enjoy the exhibition, get inspired and have a tasty cake and a nice talk afterwards in the Weltmuseum Café.
