Day By Day

1 day (Saturday 3 November Protected content Town / Windhoek – Sesriem Protected content

Departure from Cape Town International Airport (South African Airlink flight). Arrival to Windhoek airport. Meet and greet by our representative and pick up of 4X4 car (Renault Duster or similar with full insurance cover, additional driver, GPS). Self drive transfer to Sesriem and accommodation at Le Mirage Resort and Spa in Oasis Room on a half board basis. Dinner e overnight.

2 day (Sunday 4 November Protected content

Breakfast. Full day to visit Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and the Sesriem Canyon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

3 day (Monday 5 November Protected content – Swakopmund Protected content

Breakfast. Early departure via Solitaire and the Ghaub and Kuiseb passes to reach Swakopmund, Namibia’s premier holiday resort, that is characterised by a wealth of well-preserved German colonial buildings. Well-known historic buildings include Woermann House, the old State Railway Station, Alte Kaserne (Old Fort) and the old Magistrate’s Court which now serves as State House in Swakopmund. You will have the rest of the day to yourself to relax. Accommodation at Swakopmund Sands Hotel in standard bedroom on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner (not included). Overnight.

4 day (Tuesday 6 November Protected content

Breakfast. Full day exursion (from 9AM 4,30 PM): half day marine cruise in order to spot seals and half day Sandwich Harbour dunes trip (on 4X4 vehicles). Our tour start at 9 from our pier in the Walvis Bay Yacht Club area, and take you past all the interesting and fascinating places of the Walvis Bay Harbour and lagoon, while you enjoy the antics of birds, dolphins and seals around the boat as they compete for a snack and the scenery as we cruise along the oyster farms, bird island and more. Lunch is served either on the boat or in the desert.
At approximately 11h30 we arrive at Pelican Point from where you will do the rest of the tour with 4x4 vehicles to Sandwich Harbour. We head out south towards the dunes and Sandwich harbour.
Arriving at Sandwich Harbour we will stop on top of the dunes so that you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the desert. After enjoying the scenery and birdlife at Sandwich Harbour we will spoil you with a light lunch with oysters and champagne in the desert.
Our route back to Walvis Bay will take us through more scenic places and we might even encounter Springbok, Oryx and Jackal. Our last stop will be at the salt pans close to Walvis Bay where Flamingos and other sea birds can be found in abundance. This part of the tour is conducted with 4x4 Vehicles and fully qualified drivers who has lots of experience in Dune driving. Back to the hotel, dinner (not included) and overnight.

5 day (Wednesday 7 November Protected content / Twyfelfontein Protected content

Breakfast. You travel into Damaraland past Namibia's highest mountain, the majestic Brandberg Mountain, which reminds of the volcanic era millions of years ago. Accommodation at Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp on a half board basis. Time in the afternoon to visit the rock formation like the Organ Pipes and the Burned Mountain. Dinner and overnight.

6 day (Thursday 8 November Protected content

Breakfast. Seld drive transfer to Etosha getting through Anderson Gate. Accommodation at Okakuejo in standard room B on a half board basis. Night game drive on the open park vehicle. Dinner and overnight.

7 day (Friday 9 November Protected content National Park

Morning game drive on the park open vehicle. Time to relax. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight.

8 day (Saturday 10 November Protected content National Park – Windhoek / Cape Town

Breakfast. Self drive transfer to
to the airport on time to board your plane at 18.30 back to Cape Town (South African Airlink flight).
