Let's explore the royal town of Kuala Kangsar Perak
Calling a group of 6 or 12 to explore the royal town of Kuala Kangsar, Perak and the cultural heritages in this half day exploration. We'll venture through the heritage town, and meet craftsmen that have kept their traditions alive such as the keris maker (traditional Malay weapon), golden thread weavers (Tekad art), iron craftsmen, tengkolok headdress maker (traditional headdress of royalty), labu sayong potters (you can try moulding one), and kekabu cotton makers (with homemade souvenir to bring home). We'll also visit some of the landmarks around town, and have delicious local food.
07:00 AM Meet at KL Sentral (Toyota Hiace Van)
10:00 AM Arrive in Kuala Kangsar. We will be going around the city, along the way stopping by at some craftsmen's homes including: Keris making, traditional iron art, kekabu making, Tekad art, Tengkolok Diraja
12:30 PM Local lunch
01:00 PM Labu Sayong Pottery Making
02:15 PM Victoria Bridge / Karai Old Town
03:00 PM Warung Laksa Traditional
06:00 PM Back KL Sentral
