Lamento Allegro ( NONVERBAL ! )

a creation developed by the Serapions Ensemble, based on an idea from ancient Egypt.
The memory of a theater group. What can be seen is the reality of thought.
The troupe practices and loads their Thespis cart, but can not move it - it is overloaded and too heavy. There are two passing by who have a donkey with them for the little thing they carry. The theater group steals them and tugs him in front of their carts - suddenly the journey is easy.
The troupe does not play roles, but situations. Those to whom the burden falls play the plaintiffs; those to whom the mark of power falls play the mighty. The bereaved complain and protest, but artfully and in beauty. All renewed, repeated and poetic complaints are recorded and ultimately form literature - a temple of transcripts.
The resulting scenes become dance and song. The things carried by the theater group become space and painting. All together becomes a great whole, an idea, a creation in free development and without order, strictly ordered. A game is a game.
