Let's browse fine sculptures and after have a picnic at Readleaf
Every year Woollahra council runs free exhibition of the small sculptures from emerging and well-known artists. This event is one of the biggest award prizes in the country and this year 44 finalist competed for the winning prize. To give you a glimpse of the event I would like to quote one of the artists:
"The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize has distinguished itself as one of the more critically significant awards for a local artist to win. Previous recipients include some of Australia's best contemporary artists such as Mikala Dwyer, Adam Cullen, Alexander Seton and Archie Moore."
Given that will be a hot day, we can have a picnic under the trees of Redleaf pool.Of course, we shall have a swim so bring your swimmers and don't forget sunblock.Although the activity is only a few days away I am hoping to get the numbers because we can combine these two activities in a fabulous place.
