Alpe Desate Hiking
In the wonderful Valle Cervo (BI) I invite you to the annual traditional hiking to Alpe Desate, mt 1.101 s.l.m. This is a picturesque spot with numerous mountain huts, including a charming little church dedicated to San Rocco, whose feast day is August 16th.
This hike is one of the easiest and quickest, suitable for all levels of experience. The well-maintained mule track offers a very gentle slope, making it accessible even to casual tourists, provided they have basic equipment for riding on a dirt road.
During this occasion, the Pro Loco organizes "Polenta Concia" (a traditional polenta dish), where participants can stop for lunch in a large, flat meadow.
