Market Meet and Art Show
Let's meet inside the First Street Market at the wine bar seating area at 1 PM, then walk to the latest Glenbow Museum exhibit in their temporary location in the Edison at 2:30 PM. The tour is about 30 minutes.
If you haven't been to First Street Market, there's something for everyone! Here are a few favorites:
Pure Food: this is the best Vietnamese street food as endorsed by Guy Fieri on DDD. Protected content
Alforno Bakery & Cafe: As part of the Teatro Group's family of restaurants, Alforno upholds their tradition of offering only the finest coffee and pastries.
Plus: they're a fully licensed venue that focuses on locally crafted beers and cocktails - all inside a kiosk style space.
ABOUT THE ART SHOW
The exhibit at the Glenbow features the works of Takao Tanabe. He is distinguished Japanese Canadian artist renowned for his contributions to the landscape genre.
The influence of Canadian landscapes on his artistic vision has lead him to capture the serene and expansive beauty of the natural world. Tanabe’s work is marked by its contemplative minimalism and profound use of color, reflecting both his Japanese heritage and his deep connection to the Canadian landscape.
I have registered guests for the exhibit tour.
