"La Petite Ceinture du 15e" is a 1.3 km green trail in the south of the 15th arrondissement. This elevated trail opened in Protected content follows the line of the ‘Petite Ceinture’, a former railway built around Paris but unused since the 70s. This trail is to be extended in the future so as to link the Parc André Citroën and the Parc Georges Brassens.

The landscaping preserves the railway heritage and the biodiversity: more than Protected content of plants and animals. This trail is largely unknown and one meets only a few pedestrians there, mainly local residents. I like it for its peace and quiet and for its contrasting landscapes between nature and buildings. You will feel like you have gone back in time when trains were still running whilst walking along the former station of Vaugirard. I only wish the walk were longer: 1.3 km is really too short! We will continue onto the Parc Citroen and walk around its perimeter, then go have a late breakfast/early lunch at theProtected content
