Leisurely Bike Ride (45 Km) From Bois Le Roi to Nemours

PLEASE READ THE ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION BEFORE SIGNING UP

Our train (train R) will leave from Gare de Lyon station, hall 1, at 11:16 am (direction - Montargis).

!!! Travelling with our bikes, we cannot all get into the same carriage. We will all meet directly on the platform in Bois le Roi !!!

Please, don't miss your train: you only have 1 train per hour.

You can transport your bike on this train for free. There are no extra fees for you if you have a monthly or yearly Navigo Pass.

Normally, the train leaves from track N, M, L, K or J, but there could be exceptions.

The path will be flat : you can use a regular bike.

We will have our picnic all together - please, bring a snack : there are very few cafés on the way. We will stop for the picnic next to the river in Fontainebleau forest - it possible (non-officially) to swim there, so you can bring your bathing suit if interested.

We will make a stop in Moret sur Loing (please, bring a lock for your bike - we will move around the town on foot)

We will then keep on riding until we come to Nemours. There is a nice terrace on the riverside there where we can have a drink.

We will take the train back to Paris from Nemours. At what time? I have no idea : it will depend on how fast we ride and how long our stops are.

Please check the technical condition of your bike before leaving, bring a bike pump, water and a snack.
