"FAKE VS. REAL" - Can you tell the difference?
ITS HAPPENING! The long planned Event we have been talking about on our previous tastings!
FAKE WINE VS. REAL WINE!
How many times we have had a wine that looked perfectly right... Nice label, Great online reviews and at a high price... The bottle that had made you think would be perfect for a lovely dinner... you already had a picture in your head how good it would go with that beef steak you got the other day... :D
And than you opened it... poured it in your glass and with only a glance of its color and smell you realized that you have been scammed! Your wine is a mess! Squeezed grape or just some artificial liquid with who knows what! Your night is ruined and you go back to chips and beer! :D :D :D
To avoid that happening in the future we will do a Fake Vs Real Wine night where we first do a blind tasting and then talk about the differences in labeling of the wines where you can see how to recognize the real deal and how to avoid the ones that would made you give up on wine.
AS ALWAYS THERE IS NO FIXED TASTING FEES! WE SHARE OVERALL COSTS OF THE EVENT AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS!
Cost of the Venue: Our member Tetia was very kind to let us use her company ROOFTOP FOR 40 PEOPLE. We will share the cost of the rent which is 800CNY, so that would be 20CNY per person if everyone shows up.
PARTICIPATION DEPOSIT: Same as always, there is a participation deposit of 100CNY that helps me confirm the exact number of people to the venue and prepare the wines! I use the deposit to buy the wines we will taste and cover the cost of the venue.
If the cost split by participants is lower than 100CNY I return the rest, if it is higher we split and add the difference!
For the Deposit and any questions please add my WeChat. My WeChat ID is andrejam
Cheers and see you there!
